If you’re expecting a typical, dry, measured press release, this isn’t it. Why? Because as the title suggests, we are totally psyched about our all new website. It tells the story of our groundbreaking guitars in a way that’s fresh, exciting and user-friendly. The vibe is all Ovation – in other words, not your same-old, same-old guitar site.
As soon as a visitor arrives at our home page they’ll find a website designed around a highly interactive and user-friendly platform. Navigating through the full range of Ovation guitars and accessories is simple and intuitive – each product listing includes all of the information that players need in order to find the best Ovation for their style and ability. They can easily search the entire website by keyword, or filter products by series and body depth if that’s the way they’d rather do it. Basically, we’re making it fun and easy for our customers to educate themselves (and get fired up) before they get to their Ovation dealer.
But the new site is a lot more than facts and figures. When it comes to social media, all of Ovation’s social sites can be accessed easily from each page inside the site, making it super-easy to share information with friends. Other features include “Buy it Now”, “Get Live” – featuring artist events and tour dates – an interactive “Soundroom” blog and a comprehensive video lesson library. Artists are featured in an expanded “Players” section honoring each Ovation pro with their own page within the website.
And believe it or not, this is just the start. Over the next few months the roundback revolution is going to gather even more momentum as additional functionality and features are added to the site. The “Hometown Heroes” section will provide players the opportunity to showcase their own music, photos and videos. Visitors will be able to plan Ovation “Meetups”, interact and share and plan dates for events. And because the roundback revolution is global, the site will be translated into multiple languages.
